Benjamin
Kaminski

Violist Benjamin Kaminski received a Masters of Music degree from the Royal
Welsh College of Music and Drama, a Bachelor of Music degree from The Boston
Conservatory. His teachers include Simon Rowland-Jones, Patricia McCarty, and
Marjolein Dispa. Since May 2008 Benjamin has been the violist with the Mavron
Quartet in Cardiff. He has performed concertos with the Hereford String Orchestra
and the Royal College of Music String Ensemble, and was a finalist in the 2007
and 2008 RWCMD Concerto Trials. He enjoys working on chamber music projects
with friends and colleagues from around the world and has performed in a variety
of recitals throughout the United States, the Netherlands and the U.K.
He has been a participant at Campus Internazionale di Musica, at the Britten-Pears
31st International Academy of String Quartets, and was the violist with the
Harpham Quartet for their Purcell Room debut as part of the Park Lane Series
in January 2008.
